In July, the Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) network served nearly 689,000 passengers, marking the busiest month of 2025 in terms of total passenger numbers. This represents a 6% increase compared to July 2024.

Vilnius Airport handled 493,000 passengers, a 6.5% rise compared to the same month last year. Kaunas Airport served 154,000 passengers (+4%), and Palanga Airport welcomed 42,000 passengers, showing a notable 14% increase year-on-year.

A total of 5,261 flights were operated across the Lithuanian Airports network in July, up 1% compared to July 2024. This included 3,689 flights at Vilnius Airport (+1%), 1,098 flights at Kaunas Airport (+1%), and 474 flights at Palanga Airport (+3%).

The most popular regular routes across the network in July 2025, based on passenger numbers, were: London (Luton Airport), Riga (Latvia), Copenhagen (Denmark), London (Stansted Airport), and Warsaw (Poland).

It is also worth noting that a recent public opinion survey conducted this year revealed that 9 out of 10 people in Lithuania believe the quality of air connectivity has improved over the past year. Key areas of progress identified by respondents included a greater variety of flight destinations, as well as more convenient flight times and frequencies.
