From March to the end of October 2026, airBaltic will significantly strengthen its operations in Lithuania. Taking into account the rapid market growth, the company will offer 16% more flights compared to 2025. The expansion will be driven by basing a third aircraft in Vilnius, which will enable the airline to offer more flights on the most popular routes and more convenient schedules.

From Vilnius, airBaltic will increase the frequency of flights to Malaga (two flights per week), Munich (eight flights per week), Nice (two flights per week), Palma de Mallorca (two flights per week), and Paris (six flights per week).

It has already been announced that starting in March, airBaltic will also launch direct flights between Kaunas and Riga. The new route, operating five times a week, will provide passengers with access to more than 80 cities across Europe and beyond via connections in Riga. With the launch of this route, airBaltic will offer flights from all three Lithuanian airports – Vilnius, Kaunas, and Palanga.

“We are pleased that airBaltic recognizes the growing potential of the Lithuanian market and is already planning to expand its services next year. Lithuanian airports are developing at a record pace, which highlights the attractiveness of our country’s aviation market. Therefore, it is especially important for us to maintain high quality and convenience in air connectivity for all our passengers,” said Simonas Bartkus, CEO of Lithuanian Airports.
