Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) have announced that more flights to Tel Aviv (Israel) will be operated at Vilnius Airport this summer. Arkia Israeli Airlines will almost double the number of flights in July-August, while Wizz Air plans to resume flights a month earlier, in August.

The Israeli airline, Arkia, which started operations at Vilnius Airport in May, will operate as many as five direct flights per week between Vilnius and Tel Aviv during the peak season – in July and August. Currently, the airline flies between the cities three times a week.

Wizz Air plans to resume direct regular flights between Vilnius and Tel Aviv on 6 August, or a month earlier than previously announced. According to the carrier, the renewed flights will be operated twice a week in August, and four times a week in subsequent months.

Direct regular flights between Vilnius and Tel Aviv are also operated by the Israeli airline Israir. The company’s flights are operated three times a week.

The latest flight schedules are available and tickets can be purchased on the official websites of the airlines, respectively www.arkia.co.il, www.wizzair.com at www.israirairlines.com

In the first five months of this year, Vilnius Airport served more than 2 million passengers, or almost a tenth more than in 2025, and each of these months set a new all-time record. The growing desire to travel, as well as new airlines and new and returning popular routes helped to achieve these records.
