Lithuanian airports have signed an agreement with the cafe chain \u201cCaffeine\u201c, well-known in Lithuania and on the international market. Already in autumn, two cafes of this network will open their doors at Vilnius Airport and two more will be available to visitors of Palanga Airport starting in winter. \u201cCaffeine\u201d promises to offer passengers waiting for flights not only a wide range of coffee and snacks, but also comfortable, modern and flight-friendly places.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An attractive place for well-known brands<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, Lithuanian airports have been receiving increasing interest from well-known local and international brands and their market leaders. \u201cReitan Convenience Lithuania\u201d, the brand manager of \u201cCaffeine\u201d, won the public lease tender in June this year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are glad that the list of Lithuanian airport partners is joined by another well-known and popular brand providing high-quality services. We will continue the chosen strategy to offer passengers a wide range of services and attract as many brands as possible that are recognized in the market and apply high quality standards to airports\u201d, says Justinas Step\u0161ys, Director of the Commercial Department of Lithuanian Airports.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the contract with Caffeine has been signed for 5 years, and preparatory work is already underway. The plan is to open two cafes of this brand at Vilnius and Palanga airports each, they will be located in departure terminals, both, in Schengen and non-Schengen areas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new cafes of \u201cCaffeine\u201d will be located right next to the boarding gate, so passengers will be able to wait for their flights comfortably without worrying about being late for their flight. According to Vigintas Barta\u0161evi\u010dius, General Director of \u201cReitan Convenience Lithuania\u201d, the concept of the new cafes will resemble those that are common in the country’s major cities, but will offer a wider range and a format that meets the needs of airport passengers. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new airport cafes will be equipped with over 200 seats of different types, most of which will have a view through the window to the planes. All customer seating areas will be equipped with sockets and USB connectors for charging mobile devices. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to V. Barta\u0161evi\u010dius, special attention will be paid to the quality of the assortment, ensuring that fresh products are always produced by “Caffeine”: fresh salads, favourite foci, flavours, \u201cCaffeine\u201d cheesecakes that have become a legend. In addition, the cafes will offer over 20 different coffee drinks, natural teas, homemade lemonades and freshly squeezed juice. There will also continue to be a strong focus on the environment, with airport cafes using paper straw and wooden tools, passengers being offered ceramic tableware and other environmentally friendly solutions. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“We appreciate the opportunity to connect to the main Lithuanian air gates – this is a significant achievement for our network. \u201cCaffeine\u201d caf\u00e9s already operate in one Norwegian hospital, as well as at a Danish airport. I believe that we will provide travellers with many pleasant moments by facilitating and improving the taste of their waiting time\u201d, says V. Barta\u0161evi\u010dius. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, there are five trade and catering establishments at Palanga Airport and 13 at Vilnius Airport.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
