There is a relatively high demand in the market for quick delivery of goods dispatched from distant countries. For this reason, we offered Turkish Cargo to expand its activities. We competed markedly with the surrounding airports, and especially with Riga Airport. And the result is very useful to us – another cargo flight and additional value for the whole market. As per the promotion scheme, a measure for increasing the frequency of cargo flights – discount on landing fees for the said additional scheduled flight – will be used in respect of this company“, – says Aurimas Stikliūnas, Head of Aviation Services at Lithuanian Airports.

According to the representative of Lithuanian Airports, Turkish Cargo occupy about one third of the share of transported cargo market at the airports of our country.
