Lithuanian Airports is a joint stock company which unites and manages Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports, develops the activities of the three airports in a coordinated manner, offers a wide range of services, as well as high standards of the quality of service rendered to passengers and partners.

The airport network provides an opportunity to diversify activities and priorities of each one of them as well as to supplement Lithuanian transport system in a co-ordinated manner.

The ideology and strategy of operation of Lithuanian Airports are based on the principle ‘United but different’.

In 2024, Lithuanian Airports welcomed 6.6 million passengers and handled 57 thousand flights.

Vilnius Airport

Vilnius Airport is the largest commercial airport in Lithuania, serving over 5 million passengers in 2019. In 2024, Vilnius Airport welcomed 4.8 million passengers.

The Airport occupies an area of 326 ha, and the length of the airfield perimeter is 10.54 km. The length of the runway is 2.515 m; width – 50 m; PCN83/F/D/X/T; Landing Category II, Siemens signal lights system.

The airport is located on a plateau in the south of Vilnius. It is only 7 km or 15 minutes drive by car from the centre of the capital. The airport provides aviation and non-aviation services to national and foreign economic entities, as well as natural persons.

Kaunas Airport

Kaunas Airport served 1.1 million passengers in 2019, 1.4 million passengers in 2024.

Kaunas Airport is the second busiest civil airport in Lithuania after Vilnius Airport and the fourth busiest in the Baltic states. The airport is located in the central part of the country, 14 km (8.7 mi) northeast of Kaunas city centre and 100 km west from the capital Vilnius.

Palanga Airport

Palanga Airport served 338 thousand passengers in 2019, 377 thousand in 2024.

Palanga Airport is a regional airport located in the western part of Lithuania, near the Baltic Sea. The third largest city, ice-free seaport, Klaipeda, is located 35 km south of the airport. The Airport has perfect road links with major cities of the region and neighboring countries.

The catchment area within the range of 80 km is a population of 570 000 people. Length of airport runway is 2280 meters, width – 45 meters. Airport infrastructure allows handling aircrafts of medium and small sizes: B737, A320, Dash Q400, CRJ900, CRJ200, ATR-42, etc.
